All you have to do is turn on the device with a long press on the button on the front, then make the OK sign with your right hand, the LED light will turn green and you're good to go. It doesn't work that easily with the left hand, you have to turn your hand around so that the outside of your hand is facing the device and the three fingers are on the right side again, then you can also activate the tracking with your left hand. While this works perfectly and the tracking itself works very well, pausing is a bit trickier. If you make the gesture with your right hand, the LED light will turn blue and tracking will pause while the device remains in standby. If you work with your left hand, you can only pause briefly while holding your hand in front of it, after which it immediately jumps back to green and tracking starts again. Whether for video calls, video recordings or whatever, I find the face tracking tripod to be a very practical and useful gadget that does exactly what is expected of it reliably and well.

The application is really simple, all you have to do is place your mobile phone or tablet in the slot, whether portrait or landscape. Then the screw must be tightened at the back so that the end device does not fall down. The power button is pressed for 3 seconds and the device turns on. There is an LED on the front and when the device is switched on, it lights up blue, so that no tracking is active yet. For this you have to make the OK sign with your hand and then the LED jumps to green and the tracking starts. I'm really pleasantly surprised how well it works. Even with fast movements, the tripod follows very well. To stop the tracking you just have to hold out your hand and the whole thing stops. My 3-year-old daughter also tried it and it works perfectly for her too, she likes to run back and forth when she's doing face time with grandma and she's usually out of the picture, but here she's always in the picture and The little one likes that too, she literally plays with the tracking tripod. Unlike one of my prescribers, the tracking tripod seems to respond better to movements of my left hand. At first I even thought it would only work with my left hand. But it works with both hands. The only important thing is that the built-in camera in the holder can capture the movement. So you shouldn't orientate yourself too much on your own video image and make the gestures too far up in the picture, otherwise the camera may not capture the movement. The movement tracking is independent of the use of the chat or video program and even works without recording a video or making a video call. Then it's just pretty pointless. When making video calls, the motion tracking reacts very sensitively, even the smallest movements cause the holder to move with it. Cheating your way out of the picture to secretly poo doesn't work :D Big brother watches all your moves. However, the camera cannot keep up with very fast or hectic movements. Even if you disappear from the camera area during your movements, for example when bending down, the holder remains in place - precisely because it no longer detects any movement. I have to be honest, I didn't think I would find the tracking camera so useful. Originally I really only wanted to use it for video calls. Now I can think of a thousand things I can do with it. It's also ideal for shooting videos where you're demonstrating something, without accidentally disappearing from the frame. For what the tracking camera can do, I don't think the price is too high. The only thing that could be better is the operating time, which is given as 2-4 hours depending on use. Here I would have wished for a stronger battery so that I didn't have to charge the device so often. Otherwise I have a clear buy recommendation.
